These swollen may appear from the size of a pea to a grape size. Hemorrhoids have two main types, external hemorrhoids that affected veins protrude near the anus, while the internal hemorrhoids affected veins which are inside the anal canal and rectal.

Hemorrhoids have 4 kinds, and depending on the infected person. For example, hemorrhoids may be very painful for a person, while another one may have a rectal bleeding following a bowel movement when the other one may feel itchy.

In all cases, hemorrhoids during pregnancy are expected, especially in the last 6 months of pregnancy, as we explained in a previous articles that the pressure on the veins in the rectal area and pelvic may causes hemorrhoids especially if the pregnant woman isn't trying to avoid constipation while pregnancy.

Even if you get the hemorrhoids before, you may have them again while pregnancy. But the good news is that they can go away quickly after giving birth at home without needing to follow the medical treatment.

On the other hand, new moms are supposed to have constipation after birth, and what makes it bad enough is fearing to go and retaining stool which causes harder stools and flares the hemorrhoids.

What makes new moms expected to have hemorrhoids more than any females, is that their bodies produce the hormone progesterone more than any other person, this hormone allows veins to relax and promote swelling.
